CHELSEA BOSS KEEN TO OFFLOAD STRUGGLING STAR

Chelsea boss keen to offload struggling star
Spanish newspaper Super Deporte are claiming that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has asked super-agent Jorge Mendes to find Juan Cuadrado a new club, with the Portuguese making clear that the player has no future at Stamford Bridge.Mourinho is keen to recoup some of the £23 million they spent on Cuadrado in January as he looks to strengthen his squad in the transfer market this summer ahead of the new season.
It is understood that Mourinho has personally asked Mendes to identify a new club for Cuadrado a new club, with Spanish side Valencia supposedly interested.
Mendes has close ties with Valencia, having been involved with most of the club’s transfer dealings since millionaire owner Peter Lim bought the club last year. The super-agent may offer Los Ches a loan deal for Cuadrado with an option to buy, although Chelsea are believed to favour a straight-out permanent sale.
27-year-old Cuadrado joined the Blues in January from Fiorentina having gained a big reputation from his time in Serie A.However, he struggled at Stamford Bridge during the second half of last season, failing to score once in four appearances.
